Well, after this post, I am going to take a break from the issue until the rally on Saturday.  It's really making me angry for a lot of personal reasons.  Besides the fact that I am the mother of two sons, I am sick and tired of being criminalized because of the color of my skin.  If Trayvon were a white youth, I seriously doubt that Zimmerman would have followed him. I was stopped in my car by State Troopers about a month ago for NO reason.  If you know me, you know I drive a beat up red PT Cruiser with a cutesy license plate. I am a woman in my fifties. Do I look like a criminal? I only fit the profile in one respect: my race.  The officer claimed I committed a traffic violation, but if so, why didn't I receive a ticket? PLEASE, PLEASE, people, we have got to stop judging each other based on race.  African Americans are not over reacting to Trayvon's murder.  Like me, the majority of us have more than story about being targeted because of race, and we are just sick and tired of it.
